Re-discovering Meaning: Connecting with Your Core Values
When we become overwhelmed, exhausted or disconnected from our purpose, it can be difficult to remember what truly matters to us. Reconnecting with our values can help us find greater clarity, meaning and direction, especially during challenging times.
This reflective session explores the role of values in supporting wellbeing and sustainable change-making. We'll consider the difference between living from our core values and simply following social expectations, and explore how values can guide our choices, priorities and relationships. Through input, journaling, mindfulness and guided reflection, participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with what matters most and identify practical ways to bring their values more fully into everyday life and work.

Rest Without Guilt: Sustaining Ourselves While Doing Work That Matters
In caring professions and purpose-driven organisations, rest can often feel like something we have to earn. Yet rest is not a luxury; it is essential for wellbeing, creativity and sustainable impact.
This session explores our relationship with rest and the role it plays in supporting both personal wellbeing and long-term effectiveness. We'll look at different forms of rest, reflect on where we may be feeling depleted, and consider how cultural messages about productivity can influence our ability to pause and replenish. Through input, reflection and guided practice, participants will identify small, realistic ways to build more rest into their lives and contribute to healthier, more sustainable working cultures.

Making Space for Joy: Sustaining Wellbeing and Long-term Impact
Working for positive change can be deeply meaningful, but it can also expose us to continual challenges, setbacks and pressures. Over time, it can become easy to focus solely on what is difficult and lose sight of what sustains and inspires us.
In this uplifting and reflective session, we'll explore the importance of joy, appreciation and positive emotions in sustaining wellbeing and long-term impact. Drawing on insights from psychology and mindfulness, we'll consider the brain's negativity bias and learn practices that help us notice and savour what is going well. Through gratitude, strengths-based reflection and mindfulness exercises, participants will explore ways to cultivate joy as a source of resilience and renewal.

Relational Mindfulness and Compassionate Communication at Work
The quality of our relationships has a profound impact on our wellbeing, yet when we feel stressed or under pressure, communication can quickly become reactive, defensive or disconnected. Mindfulness can help us bring greater awareness, compassion and intention to our interactions with others.
This session introduces the concept of relational mindfulness: bringing present-moment awareness not only to ourselves, but also to the people we interact with and the relationships we are creating together. Through reflection, discussion and practical exercises, we'll explore mindful listening, compassionate communication and how to pause before reacting in challenging situations. Participants will leave with simple tools to support more connected, compassionate conversations at work.

Cultivating Connection and Community: Creating Cultures of Belonging at Work and Beyond
Connection and belonging are fundamental human needs and powerful contributors to wellbeing, resilience and flourishing. Yet in busy working lives, meaningful connection can sometimes feel surprisingly difficult to sustain.
This session explores what helps people experience genuine belonging and how we can nurture stronger communities in our workplaces and wider lives. Drawing on mindfulness, self-compassion and ideas of interconnection, we'll reflect on what brings people together, the role of common humanity, and the importance of seeing ourselves as part of something larger than ourselves. Through practical exercises and guided reflection, participants will explore how to strengthen connection, deepen relationships and contribute to cultures where people feel valued, supported and included.
All About Burnout: Developing a More Sustainable Approach to Change-making
Many people who are committed to helping others or creating positive change can find themselves running on empty. When the demands we face consistently outweigh the resources available to us, burnout and compassion fatigue can gradually take hold, often without us fully recognising the warning signs until it’s too late.
This session explores what burnout and compassion fatigue are, how they develop, and the emotional, physical and behavioural signs that can indicate we are approaching exhaustion. We'll introduce the concept of the exhaustion funnel and consider the particular challenges faced by people working in social justice, community and change-making roles. Through reflection, discussion and guided mindfulness practice, we'll explore practical ways to stay well and build awareness of our limits.

Grounding for Turbulent Times: Finding Steadiness When Things Feels Overwhelming
Whether we are navigating personal challenges, uncertainty at work, or the wider pressures of the social and geopolitical climate, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed, anxious or pulled in multiple directions at once. During challenging times, having practical ways to ground ourselves and regulate our emotions can make a significant difference to our wellbeing.
This session explores how stress affects the mind and body, using the stress bucket model and an exploration of the emotion regulation systems. Through reflection, discussion and guided practice, we'll explore mindfulness and grounding techniques that can help us find stability when things feel overwhelming. Participants will leave with a range of practical tools that can be used in everyday life to support calm, balance and emotional resilience.

Getting Off Autopilot: Creating More Choice in How We Respond to Pressure
Many of us spend much of our lives on autopilot, moving from task to task, reacting to pressures and demands without fully realising what is happening. While this can be useful, it can also leave us feeling stressed, disconnected and stuck in habitual patterns.
In this session, we'll explore what autopilot is, why our minds naturally operate this way, and how mindfulness can help us develop greater awareness and choice in our responses to everyday challenges. Through reflection, discussion and guided practice, we'll explore the difference between doing mode and being mode, and discover practical ways to bring more presence and balance into our work and lives.

Befriending the Mind: Creating Space from Stressful Thinking
Often, it is not just difficult events that create stress, but the stories, assumptions and judgements our minds add to those experiences. Learning to relate differently to our thoughts can help us navigate challenges with greater ease and resilience.
This session introduces the concepts of primary and secondary experience and explores how our thinking patterns can influence stress and wellbeing. Through input, exercises and mindfulness practices, participants will learn how to notice thoughts with greater curiosity and less entanglement, creating more space, perspective and self-awareness in the midst of demanding situations.

Self-Compassion: Caring for Ourselves While Caring for Others
Many people working to create positive change bring immense compassion to others while finding it much harder to extend the same kindness to themselves. Yet self-compassion is not self-indulgence; it is a powerful resource for resilience, courage and sustainable action.
In this session, we'll explore what self-compassion is, common barriers to practising it, and why it can be particularly challenging for those engaged in helping professions and social change work. We'll introduce the concepts of tender and fierce self-compassion and explore practical ways of responding to ourselves with greater kindness during difficult moments. The session includes input, accessible ‘everyday’ self-compassion practices and a guided meditation.
